You Can't Become a Millionaire Without First Making a Million Dollars
Welcome to the world of making more money.
Doesn’t the air just smell sweeter here? That’s because the furniture is all leather and we hired a guy to make cotton candy over in the corner.
Are they doing that in Frugualism? No way. Unneccessary expense. Cotton Candy is a want (by a mile) and not a need.
Do they do that in Minimalism? Nope. Expense. Extra interaction and setup. Cotton candy complicates blood glucose levels, which complicates life. The furniture can’t double as a bed/table/stove and is therefore inefficient or something, probably.
As you can imagine, many people are drawn to this world. It's basically the one ring of Mordor of personal finance. We all talk about it, we all seek it. It makes some of us go crazy and lose sight of why we even started this journey. But it is oh so precious. And you ignore it at your own peril.
WHO WE ARE
We are online business owners. Freelancers. Moonlighters. Entrepreneurs. We are anyone who takes it upon themselves to earn more so they aren’t beholden to their bosses and their paychecks forever.
We look just like you, or your neighbor, or that girl at the gym. But on the weekend when you fall asleep on the couch watching a bad movie, we make an extra $100 freelancing, or working a second job, or starting our own small business.
We take our hobbies or our skills, apply them to create a service or a product for others, and ease the burden on our budgets by not settling for the ceiling on our salaries.
Who are we? People working harder now, and smarter now, to try and amass more wealth for later.
